• Cantóirí Christmas Concert 2011
We had a great time getting into the Christmas spirit entertaining passengers at Heuston Station Saturday Dec 10th, singing Christmas carols (and some other stuff!) to help raise funds for St. Michael's House.
• Christmas Sing for Simon Carol-athon
The choir have participated in the 'Sing for Simon' 24 hour carol-athon since it began. This really great event took place at the usual venue, outside Dunnes on Grafton St., on Friday Dec 16th, 2011. We were be there from 7-9pm, belting out the classics, and helping raise much needed funds for Simon. We even had the Lord Mayor of Dublin sing with us! Updated November 2011Cantóirí were runners up in the International Grand Prix and were placed third in the Sacred Music
in a very enjoyable and competitive competition.
Cantóirí were also placed first by some distance in the marathon, late night, open-air singing competition which took place later in the evening in Strandhill.
• Cantóirí Summer Concert 2011
Cantoiri performed their summer concert on June 18th, 8pm, at the Masonic Lodge, Molesworth St, followed by a wine reception with family, friends and fans!
Cantóirí took first place in the early music competition at Navan Choral Festival on Sunday May 15th. The choir also took first place in the Cómortas Gaeilge, Irish Language competition . The choir entered the National Choir of the Year for the second time and were placed third in a very enjoyable and competitive competition.

The event was run as part of the World Mental Health week and National Choral singing week initiative.
Cantóirí took first place in the early music competition at Navan Choral Festival on Sunday May 9th. The choir also entered the National Choir of the Year for the first time and were delighted to finish runners up out of eight participating choirs.
Cantóirí were delighted to participate in the opening programme of events at Comóradh 75, celebrating seventy-five years of Gaeltacht Ráth Chairn, where our performance of Amhrán Ráth Chairn was particularly well received on the night.
We had a fantastic few days of singing, eating and drinking in Knockree this weekend. Martina was amazing as usual and once again we surprised ourselves at the sound we made – in a good way of course!
