Choral Singing is Good for Your Mental Health - "Come and Sing"

Have you ever wanted to sing in a choir, or would you like to find out more about how a choir works?
Cantoiri threw open the rehearsal room doors on Saturday October 9th at 4:30pm in Aras Treasa,
Coppinger Row and invited the public to come in and sing with us, or just listen on a lovely Saturday
afternoon in the city. There were vocal gymnastics, some catchy songs, and everyone was singing like a pro in an hour! Cantóirí also performed some of their diverse repertoire and the event was a huge success which we look forward to repeating in 2011 .

The event was run as part of the  World Mental Health week and National Choral singing week initiative.
